I just bought my first of your spoons at, Christmas Made in the South, in Macon Georgia. I have always liked using wooden utensils and what I love about yours is the well thought out designs to use in my cooking. I bought the salad claws and the flat bottom scrapper with the hole in the middle. The flat bottom scrapper is one of the handiest tools I have now and I want even more of them (smile). I will be placing an order/orders and becoming a repeat customer for sure. Thank you!

Got a few spoons at Market Days in Tallahassee, FL. Love the hand crafted spoons. I want to buy all of them, well maybe over time. I have a few people that would love them as gifts too. Please consider adding a Facebook link, it's another way to promote your business. That way I can find you when I'm ready to order again.

Hi, DJ, I received my order today and am so happy with the products! Now I will have to get to cooking so I can use them all! You make a great product and I am displaying them in a crock for all to see. Continue the great work ( and I did order the right heart spoon). Thank you, once again. Linda

What a pleasure to meet you and your husband at William Sonoma at Gulfstream Park. As a fellow woodworker of furniture for44 years, it is a treat to see an individual take a natural material and develop their own personal creativity into products of beauty and daily usefulness. Keep up the great work and all the best. ps. I already have the pleasure of using the utensils I purchase, and will be ordering more.

LOVE IT!! I recently purchased the left handed pothanger, the best thing in my kitchen since the electric stove. I'm in the process of ordering another spoon for my left handed daughter. Thank you for thinking of us.

Hi DJ, It seems I'm on the internet quite often looking at different sites that make wooden spoons. I also make wooden ware (since 2002) I am in the process of writing a book on wooden kitchen utensils. In one chapter I will talk about wood toxicity. I think this is an area that is the most neglected by those that make wooden spoons. Just from looking at your utensils, most of them seem to be made out of maple. Maple is an excellent choice for wooden ware. I make mine out of Osag Orange. I have a tea spoon that I made out of Osage that has been continually soaking in water for 9 years. I take it out and dry it once a month to see what effects water has on the wood. It only takes 5 minutes for it to completely dry. Then I add more water and let it soak for another month. Anyway, if there is anything you would like to see me add to my book, I would like to hear it. John

Just read the Fort Remington Wood Spoons article in the March/April of Hobby Farm Home. An order will follow when my tax refund hits the bank.

Just finished reading your article in Hobby Farm Home. Your spoons are beautiful, can't wait to order one or maybe two. I think your prices are very reasonable. I live in Wisconsin so I will keep up with your produces on your website.

I too make spoons and other kitchen utinsils, a bit different patterns than you and all are hand made. of course I use power tools too but never a pattern. Funny though, I remove extra wood to make them, don't know what they have until I start cutting usually. I use some Juniper, pine and oak. I have been doing this off an of for abut 40 years, still learning but am not in the business to sell, at least not as you do. Keep it up girl.. and I notice no ladels, bean pot ladels. I love them... Jr
